Liana grew up in Aberdeen, and Aberdeen is where Liana’s Beauty Company lives. But first, she went and learned everything she could.
An HND in Beauty Therapy, the highest qualification available to a beauty therapist in the UK, was just the beginning. Liana spent years working across Scotland and England, from St Andrews to Edinburgh to Cheltenham, absorbing the standards, the techniques, and the kind of attention to detail that you only develop by working somewhere that demands it.
And when she came home to Aberdeen in 2018, she brought all of it with her.
The Salon

The Skin Bothy on Albert Street is Liana's world, and it shows. Jo Malone on the shelf. Medik8 on the counter. A carefully curated playlist, the kind that makes an hour feel like five minutes. Every product displayed with intention, every detail considered, because Liana believes the experience of a beauty appointment begins the moment you walk through the door.
She has built a space that feels genuinely special, warm, calm, and quietly luxurious. Somewhere you arrive as a client and leave as a regular.

Every brand at Liana's Beauty Company has been personally chosen, researched, trained in, and trusted by Liana before it ever appears in the salon. CND because the wear is unmatched. For make-up, Liana trained with the London Academy of Freelance Make-up in London and works with an edit of brands she loves completely, Lisa Eldridge, Victoria Beckham Beauty, Merit, Bobbi Brown.
She continues to invest in training throughout the year, ensuring she is always an expert in her craft. When you sit in Liana's chair, you are getting the best of everything she knows.
